Learning from my 2nd Unity Game

This game has been a decent learning experiencing in programming and making games. I learned how to code sound effects into my game and created a title screen. My original idea for the game was that you play in an FPS shooter where you shoot birds. Sadly, my inexperience in programming held back the idea. The bullet kept firing not in the same area as the gun. Thus, I changed the hand sprite to a cross-hair. It somehow made the bullet firing not exactly in the middle of the cross-hair make sense. Originally, the points were supposed to be gained through shooting the birds. Although, I found it more fun trying to survive the constant assault of birds. Therefore, the points system grows the longer you survive.

All in all, I learned to keep an open mindset because games grow the more you make them. Don't be too stuck on one idea because being too stuck on it may have the game not reach it's full potential. Stick with ideas that seem possible and can help you try a few new things.
